Home Builders of Mississippi Subdivision of the Year.

The vision of the Enclave at Towne Center is to provide an "Affordable Convenient Community with Efficient Upscale Living."

What this vision yields is wonderful conveniences to the City of Ridgeland, interior and exterior components to improve the quality of life, and comfortable and accessible avenues for delightful entertaining.

While the minimum square footage of a home within the community is 1750 square feet, homes will offer an array of amenities and features that are mostly seen in 3000+ square foot homes.  This aligns with our vision that you may have the finest home and amenities possible, without an overwhelming price tag.

We simply want to provide something unique and make a difference.  We share this common philosophy: "Little things are the hinges on which great results turn on."

Homes within The Enclave at Towne Center will be constructed by one of the premier and longest lasting residential building contractors in the metro area, Shoemaker Homes.  There are certain builder designations required in order to construct homes within the community.  Some of those designations are:

Certified Professional Builder  (CPB)

The state of Mississippi's Certified Professional Builder program provides the opportunity for builders to pursue professional development through continuing education and is designed to foster high levels of customer satisfaction.  CPB's also agree to meet standards above the basic licensing requirement of the State Board of Contractors.  A CPB agrees to place the customer first and offers binding arbitration, the use of the Mississippi Housing Institute's Homeowners Handbook, maintains the appropriate levels of insurance coverage, as well as adheres to NAHB's national code of ethics.  BROCHURE

Certified Green Professional  (CGP)

The CGP designation recognizes builders who incorporate green building principles into homes -- without driving up the cost of construction. Class work leading to the designation provides a solid background in green building methods as well as the tools to reach consumers, from the organization leading the charge to provide market-driven green building solutions to the home building industry.

Building green utilizes water and energy conservation, improves indoor air quality and incorporates local resources.  Some specific features of green building are low flow faucets, low "e" windows, dual flush commode systems and a higher efficiency HV/AC system.  BROCHURE

Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist  (CAPS)

The CAPS program teaches' the technical, business management and customer service skills of the aging in place market.  It was developed to provide comprehensive, practical and market specific information about working with older and maturing adults.  Aging in Place means remaining in one's home safely, independently and comfortably, regardless of age, income or ability level.  BROCHURE

Some of these characteristics are: simple use / universal design, larger digital displays, more lighting to reduce shadows and wider spaces for navigation.  We will also be considerate of vision, mobility, hearing, hand limitations and range of motion.  While most of the homes built in the Enclave at Towne Center will consist of these components, it will maintain the look and feel for everyone.
